The delicate Blessing Necklace in polished 18K Gold Vermeil carries the energy of the Mati in a sequence of 5- symbolic charms which are known as the “Evil Eye”. The legend of the Evil eye itself can be traced back to ancient Greek and Roman texts and is also mentioned in the Bible and Quran.

    • Avoid wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering, exercising, or washing up.
    • Keep away from chemicals such as perfumes, cosmetics, and cleaning products, as well as abrasive surfaces that may scratch the gold layer.
    • After wearing, gently rinse in cold water and pat dry with a soft 100% cotton cloth.
    • Gemstones such as opals are delicate and should not be submerged in water.
    • Store each piece individually in an airtight container to prevent tarnish and scratching.
    • Chains should always be stored flat or hanging to avoid tangling or kinks.
    • Treat your jewellery with care, as vermeil is a fine layer of 18K gold over sterling silver.

    Gemstone jewellery can be gently scrubbed with a soft-bristled or baby-sized toothbrush coated in warm, soapy water to dislodge any dirt.

    Over time, the gold layer on vermeil will naturally wear with regular use. To restore your pieces to their original brilliance, Temple offers a dedicated replating service - so you can continue to love and wear them for a lifetime.
