Welcome to Thank You Mother!

Created by Gwendolyn Clarke and Tom Osborne - partners living on the south coast of NSW, Australia in a small town called Bermagui.

Thank You Mother was created to spread healthier alternatives in an increasingly chemically saturated world.

Being naturally curious and fastidious people, the more research we did, the more difficult we found it to find natural products made with integrity that suited our lifestyle. Tom being a product designer, and Gwendolyn a jewellery maker - we decided to start our own physical and online store to represent the products we create and love.

Every product on our website has been thoroughly researched, and the details of how it is made, and the materials it is made from are listed in the drop down menus below each product.

Natural Materials

After considering the options, we currently choose to stock clothing made from Hemp, 100% Wool & Organic Cotton from responsible suppliers due to their respective environmental benefits.

Natural Dyes

Dyes are generally a chemically and water intensive part of creating a garment - creating chemical laden run off into natural waterways, and unhealthy working conditions for garment workers. This is an area we want to be very aware of for the products we stock. We choose to create and stock garments dyed in the following more responsible ways:

Ethical Production

If you’ve ever tried to do deep research into the supply chains of the everyday products we use, you’ll know how quickly they become shadowy and hard to follow. Ethical and transparent supply chains are a continuing focus for Thank You Mother, and while we stock a reasonable amount of Australian made products, some of our suppliers do make off shore. We do our due diligence to try to understand exactly where and under what circumstances these products are made, below are a list of standards and certificates each of these off shore manufacturers hold:
